We welcome you to register to trial for our 2022 Women's State League team. Sturt Lions is the largest football club in South Australia, and we are committed to developing the Women's and Girls' game at the Club.  

We take player development seriously - you will have the opportunity to:

  1. train three times a week, 
  2. access specialist coaching, and
  3. access to the Club's resources - including playing home games at Karinya Reserve - home to our brand new clubrooms and synthetic pitch.

Coach: Stephen Maxwell - former Socceroo Stephen (Maxi) Maxwell has over 20 years of experience in player development and coaching. He was the head coach of Coerver (South Australia) from 2008 - 2015 and has worked with Academy Coaches from Real Madrid, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Fulham. Maxi also has a further 20 years of experience playing senior football, including at the highest level in Australia.
